Chair Elect Candidate
Erin Kennedy
Erin Kennedy is a Research Chemist who works for Pilot Chemical. She is a synthetic organic chemist that solves problems using analytical techniques and optimizes manufacturing processes as a process development chemist. She served in the local Delaware ACS section as Chair and Director working on improving social media. She has served in various volunteering roles in other organizations including FIRST Robotics helping high school students build a robot for a specific challenge. Erin would love to help the local Cincinnati section as Chair-Elect working on ways to continuously improve the section through communication, student outreach, and finding ways to help educators.
Secretary Candidate
Elizabeth DeSantis
Elizabeth DeSantis is an Advanced Scientist who works for Michelman Inc. She delights in formulating coatings, developing processes and procedures for predicting success in manufacturing, and serving the American Chemical Society. She served as the Official Coordinator for National Chemistry Week for our section last year after moving to Cincinnati in 2024. She previously served in various volunteering roles in other local sections. Elizabeth would love to help the local section as a secretary.
